Merry Christmas

I managed to use up another of my images which I had printed out but not coloured!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:
Sassy Studio Designs - Merry Christmas
http://sassystudiodesigns.blogspot.co.nz/2015/12/merry-christmas-dtbst-313.html
Brown Sugar - Christmas
http://brownsugarchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2015/12/challenge-178-anything-goes.html

The background paper and tag come from a paper pad and embellishment kit from Rosie's Studio.  The image is from Sassy Studio Designs and is coloured with copic markers.  I added some Kindy Glitz to the ribbon on the gift as well as the bells on the clothing.  I added some faux stitching using a Distress Marker.  I also used some red mesh ribbon and some tiny green pearls.

LPCF

The start of a new year of challenges at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.  This first challenge we are sponsored by Michele R Designs and Moonflower Digi Stamps.

I have used a pack of papers and embellishments from Michele R Designs called Vintage Garden Party.  I edged the embellishments with Distress Marker - Spun Sugar and  added some Liquid Pearls to the flower centres.  The image is from Moonflower Digi Stamps and is called Tumbellina.  I coloured here with copic markers to match the background papers.  I also added some Stickles to the flower centres in the image.

Ornamented Reindeer

The reindeer seems fairly tolerant of the birdies decorating him with ornaments.

Have a Paw-some Christmas

I'm a bit touch and go with getting this card completed - having been unwell for most of December.  I've just finished a stronger dose of medicine which appears to be finally drying up my cough - let's hope it stays that way!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:
Imagine That - Digi of the Month

Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes
http://craftygalscornerchallenges.blogspot.co.nz/2015/12/challenge-51-anything-goes.html

I have used a background paper from a christmas paper pad by Rosie's Studio.  The image and sentiment are from Imagine That and are coloured using copic markers.  I also added some Stickles to the image.  I matted with some silver glitter cardstock from American Crafts and also added some clear glitter domes.

Sadly, this will be the last Digi of the Month challenge.  I have enjoyed having the challenge of having to work with a specified image - although there usually is a choice of sentiments to go with the image.

Happy Owlidays

This is such an adorable image.

Merry Christmas from Ron

Ron wants to wish all his new elf friends a very Merry Christmas.

Now he couldn't personally give them each a hug, so he got a couple of friends to stand in to accept some Christmas hugs on their behalf:

Ron is already celebrating Christmas Day as it is 8:30am on Christmas Morning.

He is wishing all his elf friends at DL Art:

Christmas

I didn't realise how many Christmas cards I create with cats on them - until I saw how many entries I was making into the challenge at the Show Us Your Pussies!

I would like to enter my card into these challenges:

Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
http://brownsugarchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2015/12/challenge-177-anything-goes.html

I have used a patterned paper from a Christmas paper pad by Rosie's Studio.  I added some green glitter ribbon - with one piece cut into a pennant shape.  The image is from QKR Stampede and is coloured with copic markers before adding some Glossy Accents to the lights to make them shine.  I die-cut with a Labels die from Spellbinders and then added some faux stitching using a Distress Marker.  I also die-cut an ornament using a set from Spellbinders.  I like this set in that it has four outer baubles and four inner decorations and you can mix and match giving lots of possibilities.  I further embellished with some snowy white glitter domes in two sizes.

Discovery!

I think I finally found out what Ron has been up to!

I have seen him getting out patterned paper from the paper box, some red glitter ribbon, some red cord, red tree embellishments, some red organza ribbon, using copic markers and colouring elf images.  I can see all of it in his creation.

My canvasses  seem to have disappeared from my wall though.

Caught in the act of hanging something in their place:

I couldn't quite see what it said so I zoomed in and took some more photos:

Oh dear!

Do I have to put up with that as a Christmas decoration?

I have decided to link up the banner to the challenge at:
CHNC - Anything Christmas

The elf images are from Melonheadz.

Clear It Out - Bugaboo Stamps

I don't think you'll find any snow here to build one though!  Although, despite it being summer it is not exactly warm here today.

I originally printed out this image for the previous challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs and then I came down sick and didn't get any further.  Fortunately, it fit for the current challenge as well as the challenge sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs at Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

Show Us Your Pussies - Krimbo Kitties
http://showusyourpussies.blogspot.gr/2015/11/show-us-your-pussies-challenge-1-krimbo.html

I have used a paper from a Christmas paper pad by Rosie's Studio.  I still have the "25" from it which I'll be able to use on another card!  I added some green glitter ribbon.  The image is from Eureka Stamps and is coloured with copic markers.  I added some Glossy Accents to the nose and the bauble.  I also added a tree embellishment (the button was already on it!).

Golden Christmas

I picked a starry paper to match the star in the image.  I also rotated the sketch to fit the image I had chosen.

Fa La La La La

This paper comes from a christmas paper pad but I didn't think it looked particularly christmassy so have teamed it up with a Christmas sentiment and image to give it more of a Christmas feel.

As well as entering my card into a few challenges, I am taking this opportunity to post a reminder of the challenge at CHNC Extra for December.  We would love to see some more Christmas creations shared with us there.

Catch The Bug Christmas Chaos - Day Seven

For this challenge, we got to use the Friday Freebie!  It was also a BINGO challenge to add an extra element.  I worked with the top line of snowflake + silver + bling:

I have used a silvery grey paper from Rosie's Studio for the background.  The image is the Friday Freebie from Bugaboo Stamps.  I coloured using copic markers C5, C0, R59, R46, E08, E00.  I matted wtih some silver glitter cardstock from American Crafts and die-cut the snowflake usng the same glitter cardstock and a die from Memory Box.  I also added some clear bling.

Catch The Bug Christmas Chaos - Day Six

The choice for this challenge was to make some type of wrapping.  As it included gift tags and I need some gift tags that is what I created:

I have used an embossed paper from a scrap paper pack.  I used parts of an image from Bugaboo Stamps - the whole image was too large for my tag!  The tag is cut using a Nellie's die.

Catch The Bug Christmas Chaos - Day Five

This one was a Pick Your Treat challenge - I chose Fruit Cake

Here is my base of my card using scraps from other cards:

The papers for the base card all come from christmas paper pads - the gift one is from Sugar and Spice Studio and the rest are Rosie's Studio.  The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured wtih copic markers.  I matted with a larger scrap of paper (not sure of the source of this one).  I also added a little bauble embellishment.

Catch The Bug Christmas Chaos - Day Three

I started the week well completing the first two cards - and then I got a tummy bug and didn't feel up to crafting.  I have spent today creating/finishing the remaining five cards.  Didn't think I would make it but I did!

This photo is really weird - the glitter tape and Peel Off Stickers are definitely silver yet in the photo both look gold?
