Christmas Tree

In New Zealand, we have the pine tree as our Christmas Tree and driving around now there are a few farms growing these trees in time for Christmas.  To me, the smell of pine needles reminds me of Christmas.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Jingle Belles - Christmas Foliage

Open Minded Challenge - Add Some Buttons

Totally Papercrafts - Beautiful Borders
http://totallypapercrafts.blogspot.co.nz/2014/03/challenge-211-beautiful-borders.html

I have used a background paper from MME and overlaid it with some borders cut using a Spellbinder die.  This was a great opportunity to use up some offcuts from another project.  The image is from Oak Pond Creations and coloured with copic markers then highlighted with Stickles - Star Dust.  The buttons are from my stash.  The matting is green cardstock.  The sentiment is from Desert Diva.
